In this study,a liquid chromatography/diode array detector-electrospray mass spectrometry (LC/DAD-ESI/MS) was successfully developed to identify and characterize the main flavonoids from propolis:rutin,quercetin 3-D-galactoside,baicalin,fisetin,eriodictyol,luteolin,naringenin,isorhamnetin,amentoflavone,rhamnetin,chrysin,acacetin,flavone and flavanone.The chromatographic separation of these flavonoids was performed in a single run by using the mobile gradient elutions of acetonitrile-water mixture at 20 ℃,with the flow rate at 0.3 mL rain-1 and the detection wavelength at 250 nm and 330 nm.Identifications were performed by comparing the retention time,UV and mass spectra of samples with standards.
