LncRNAs are known to be deregulated in diseases like cancers and neurological disorders.Recently, dysregulation of a specific host cellular IncRNA in response to SARS virus infection was reported.KSHV is the etiological agent of Kaposis sarcoma (KS), Primary effusion lymphoma (PEL) and Multi-centric Castlemans disease.During latency KSHV manipulates host cell biology by expressing a subset of viral proteins and 25 miRNAs.HITS-CLIP analysis of Ago in PEL cells identified that IncRNAs constituted a small percentage of the viral miRNA targetome.
