Objective To investigate CCAAT/enhancer binding protein alpha (CEBPA) gene mutations in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with intermediate-risk cytogenetics.Methods Mutation analysis of the entire coding region of CEBPA gene in 173 Chinese de novo AML patients was performed by using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) followed by sequence analysis.We also analyzed NPM1,FLT3-ITD,DNMT3A mutations and clinical parameters in thesepatients.
