  A kind of CoO hexagon plate was synthesized by a simple solution precipitation method.Three samples with different edge lengths can be synthesized just by changing the moment of alkali.Then the layered CoO hexagon plate/graphene (CoO/G) composite which consists of CoO and graphene layers alternately, were obtained by a vacuum filtration strategy and could be used as binder-free electrodes for lithium ion batteries.
