@@ The six Arab Gulf States, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, which are also known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are very rich due to their much needed oil reserve and natural gas. They constitute a major portion of the Arabian Peninsula, which is a meeting point amid Africa, Asia, and Europe. In addition, their strategic location in a splinter zone of regional power (Arabia, India, and Persia) has led to several conflicts and foreign intervention over the years. Their politics are mainly characterized by an official framework of impartial active membership in world organizations such as, the Arab League, Gulf Cooperation Council, Islamic Congress, and United Nations.
