This article presents a microgenetic study of the development of English tense-aspect knowledge in an experiment group of non-English major university students,who voluntarily participated in a program applies Concept-Based Instruction (CBI).CBI,a newlyemerging foreign language teaching approach in 21st century,has become the focus of international second language acquisition (SLA) and sociocultural theory (SCT) research.
