Here I first talk about the relationship between primitive agricultural production and pottery. The 18 cm-thick millet shell found in a pit cellar found in Banpo’s site to reflect the primitive agricultural status of the Banpo clan more than 6,000 years ago. At the same time, in a small pot with lid also found millet shell, as shown in Figure 1 ~ ①. First, primitive farming and settlements lifestyles pioneered by Banpo’s ancestors more than 6000 years ago The Yellow River basin belonged to the traditional farming system of millet, and primitive agriculture was dominated by millet planting in the peninsula. Millet, as a staple food crop, has been planted in large areas for at least 6,000 years in the Yellow River basin. The discovery of the Banpo site is proof of this.
