  With the in-depth understanding of vehicles safety knowledge and the increase of seatbelts wearing rates,people pay more and more attention to seatbelts wearing comfort and rapid retraction performance.Also the Chinese markets complaint about seatbelt is increasing.From the IQS result,the main part of seatbelts IQS complaint in Chinese market is about seatbelts retraction performance,and it shows an upward trend.The friction between seatbelts through ring and webbing is an important factor that influences the performance of seatbelts retraction,but there is no enough research result or selection standard about the friction coefficient of the through ring and webbing.In this paper,we analyzed the layout of seatbelt and the main factors affecting webbings retraction,set orthogonal test matrix for the combination of different through rings and webbings,obtained the friction coefficients and analyzed its influence to the webbings pull out and retract force.This work will provide a lot of convenience for the development of follow-up vehicles.
