The synthesized structures of supported and separate Au nanoparticles (NPs) are unstable and tend to grow at high temperatures,leading to the deactivation.Core-shell NPs can effectively protect noble metal NPs from aggregation.1 CeO2 is studied widely due to its abundant oxygen vacancy defects and the reversible conversion between Ce3+ and Ce4+.
