The work involved in caring for a child with ASD seems never-ending.Numerous studies have indicated the provision of daily care posed threats to the well-being of the parents who always play primary caregivers.The parents especially mothers experience increased symptoms, of depression, anxiety and psychosomatic symptoms, and decreased physical health.In her earlier study, a casecontrolled design was used to compare the mental status among mothers with autistic children and controls.
