As situational interest could be internalized as individual interest.Educators can enhance students interest by teaching activities.The present study examined the relation between interest and following knowledge development using History Remote Associates Game(HRAG)which includes posing and solving questions of History Remote Associates Test(HRAT).A total of 129 8th students participated in the study and completed the questionnaires after they complete this experiment.Using confirmatory factor analysis with structural equation modeling,results showed that verbal reasoning capability was highly correlated to question-posing and solving interest; question-posing interest was also highly correlated to knowledge development,but had no significant correlated to HRAT performance; question-solving interest was highly correlated with knowledge development and HART performance.These results implied that both question-posing and solving interest may lead to knowledge development,therefore,self-directed learning can be enhanced by posing and solving questions in HRAT.
