Hydrogen is considered to be an ideal source of energy that hydrogen production attractsmuch attention.Compared with traditional chemical processes, plasma technology can offer a unique way to induce gas phase reactions. In this paper, effect of pulse repetition rate and flow rate of CH4,on plasma cracking methane for hydrogen production are experimentally investigated through micro-and nanosecond pulsed dielectric barrier discharge (DBD).The experimental results show that the main gas productions are H2,C2H6,C2H4 and C3He after the cracking.
