This research presents the impact of spatial resolution on a multi-agent system model by changing the spatial resolution of a multi-agent system model and by comparing the simulation results.The multi-agent system model for this research is made to simulate population dynamics of chlorophyll,fish,and fishermen in Gyeong-gi Bay,which located onthe western coast of South Korea.This model is branched into four subtype models by spatial resolution.The spatial resolutions of subtype models are 0.5,1,2,and 4 decimal degrees.Other conditions of subtype models are controlled to be the same.Whole models are established by a NetLogo framework.The methodology focused on:(i)whether each subtype model reveals emergence or not; and(ii)differences in the emergence's pattern of subtype models.Because of this,the simulation of each subtype model ran for 20,000 ticks so final numbers of all agents are recorded and the simulation was iterated thirty times.
