High-performance liquid chromatography with UV detection was used to determine five triazine herbicides in milk.An efficient pretreatment method named cloud point extraction (CPE) was proposed for extracting and preconcentrating analytes. The parameters of CPE investigated including surfactant type and concentration, ionic strength, sample pH,incubation temperature and duration.Under the optimum conditions, triazine herbicides (spiked 0.2μg/mL) achieved satisfied recovery in the range from 74.17% to 85.06%.The limits of detection ranged from 3.85 to lO.68μg/L.The liner range of quantitation for all triazines was O.05-2μg/mL,and the correlation coefficients of the calibration curves were ≥0.9998.The result demonstrated that the proposed method was an efficient extraction procedure for the determination of traizine herbicides in milk samples.
