Flexible pressure sensors are the crucial parts in smart protective clothing against medium speed impact from contact sports or traffic accidents.Although many flexible pressure sensors have been made,most have drawbacks such as small measuring range,materials brittleness,limited lifetime,fabrication complication or high production cost.Hence in this paper,a simple structured and low-cost flexible pressure sensor has been fabricated and calibrated.Results show that the sensor has both large measuring range(0-4MPa)and high sensitivity(250% / MPa).It may potentially be used in smart protective clothing under dynamic or impact loading in contact sports or traffic accidents.
