Polymorphism of APOE in Zhuang(349 cases) and Han(308 cases) population in aluminium mining district Guangxi were detected by SNaPshot SNP genotyping method.Cognitive function was measured by mini-mental state examination(MMSE).The contents of trace elements (Al) in blood were determined using ICP-AES.Analyses revealed that only rs7412 polymorphism remained significantly associated with cognitive impairment in Zhuang population.
