A series of complexes [Ln(2,3-DClBA)3bipy]2(Ln=Nd(Ⅰ),Sm(Ⅱ),Eu(Ⅲ),Tb(Ⅳ),Dy(Ⅴ),Ho(Ⅵ))were synthesized and characterized by Infrared and Raman spectra. The whole picture of the molecular vibration spectra were presented by the complementation of Infrared and Raman spectra. The bands were analyzed and identified theoretically.According to the corresponding second derivative of infrared spectra, the symmetrical stretching vibration of carbonyl group showed six kinds of vC=O vibrational frequency. The crystal structure showed that the bond lengths and angles of the six carbonyl groups are different,so the νC=O vibrational frequency are different.Besides, the vibration frequency of ring(stretching vibration and breathing vibration)and carbonyl(stretching vibration)increased with the increment of atomic number of lanthanide elements.
