The emergence of cognitive neuroscience has permitted a more indepth examination of the relationship between brain and behavior and in particular of the relationship between language, mind and the brain. In this talk, Ⅰ will present the history of neurolinguistic from early 18th century to current day exploration of the neural basis of language and how our current understanding open new opportunities for medicine, in particular neurodiagnostics and future neurotherapeutics.
