Objective: To expand cord blood natural killer (CB-NK) cells and enhance CB-NK cytotoxicity against hematological tumor cells.Methods: CB-NK cells were expanded with irradiated K562-mbl5-41BBL cellline for 21 days, and the level of receptors on CBNK cell was detected by flow cytometry.Cytotoxicity of expanded CB-NK cells against hematological tumor cells and specificity of expanded CB-NK cells were assessed using Cr-51 release assay.Results: No difference was observed in the expression of inhibitory receptors between fresh CB-NK cells and expanded CB-NK cells (9＜0.05), but higher expression of activation receptors was observed in expanded CB-NK cells (P＞0.05).
