金陵位于北京市房山区西南约90里的大房山麓,是经过金海陵王、世宗、章宗、卫绍王、宣宗五世60年的营建,形成的一处规模宏大的皇家陵寝,面积约有60平方公里,现已列为北京市文物保护单位。从明代天启年间为断后金(清朝)龙脉而毁陵,历经数百年的变迁和“文革”时期的人为破坏,陵区地面建筑已荡然无存,面目全非,给遗址考古调查、发掘工作造成极大困难。2002年初春,金陵课题组正式开始对金陵遗址进行调查。
Jinling is located in the foothills of the Fangfang, about 90 miles southwest of Fangshan District in Beijing. It is a massive imperial mausoleum formed through the construction of 60 years of Jinhai King, Sejong, Zhang Zong, Wei Shaowang and Xuanzong V, 60 square kilometers, is now listed as cultural relics protection units in Beijing. After the Apocalypse of Ming Dynasty, which destroyed the tomb for the dragon veins of the post-mortem gold (Qing dynasty) and after hundreds of years of vicissitudes and man-made vandalism during the “Cultural Revolution”, the ground building in the tomb area was gone and beyond recognition and the site was archeologically investigated and excavated Cause great difficulties. In the spring of 2002, Jinling research group officially began to investigate the Jinling site.
