With the rapid increase of Chinese economy, Chinese environment in which people survived is polluted seriously and energy crisis is coming, So in order to maintain sustainable development of economy and society, environmental-conserving and energy-saving become more and more important.Now, it is paid more attention to the decrease of building energy-consuming.A kind of new environment-friendly materials called as thermal insulation glazed hollow head mortar is put forward.In this paper, the consistency, thermal conductivity and compressive strength of thermal insulation glazed hollow bead(GHB) mortar in the influences of fly ash(FA) and Air entraining agent (AEG) were studied.Results show that the addition of FA and AEG can improve the workability, and increase the capability of thermal insulation and durability of GHB mortar.With the addition of FA, the consistency of GHB mortar increase.There exists an optimal addition of FA in GHB mortar, which is about 20 kg/m3.With the AEG content increase, the consistency of GHB mortar increase.Addition of FA and AEG can improve the thermal insulation capability of GHB mortar because in the same mass, the porosity of GHB mortar with FA is bigger than GHB mortar without FA, and addition of AEG increase the closed micro pores in GHB mortar.Addition of FA and AEG can decrease the compressive strength of GHB mortar.In the process of GHB production, the confirmation of proper addition of FA and AEG can be according to the compressive strength and relative thermal conductivity.
