The Qinling Orogenic Belt marks the irregular suture between the North China Craton (NCC) and the Yangtze Craton.Traditionally, the Orogenic Belt is subdivided into the south and north belts by the Shangdan suture zone (Dong et al.,2011;Zhang et al.,2001;Zhang et al.,1996).The Qinling Complex is thought to be the oldest rock unit and the inner zone or core in the North Qinling Orogenic Belt (NQOB).Therefore, the Qinling Complex is the key for understanding the evolution of the NQOB during Precambrian. The Complex consists of metagraywackes and marbles, and underwent regional amphibolite- facies metamorphism.
