F.verticillioides was the dominant species of maize ear rot in Sichuan (13.55%) and Hebei (11.09%), while F.graminearum was the dominant species in Yunnan (26.75%), Guizhou (24.65%) and Shanxi (23.61%).The same incidence of F.verticillioides and F.graminearum was found in Inner Mongolia. The results in this study suggest that the different biodiversity of Fusarium species were found in different areas in China, which involved in maize ear rot.
