近年来,国际上兴起了“绿色金融”概念,期望通过对金融体系的重塑来推动绿色和包容性经济的发展.绿色金融已成功列入G20议题,这有助于改善全球环境,动员更多资金进行绿色投资,有利于提升全球经济增长潜力.2016年7月,成都G20财长和央行行长会议发布公报指出将增强金融体系动员私人资本开展绿色投资的能力.通过推动绿色金融的自愿原则;扩大能力建设学习网络;支持本地绿色债券市场发展;开展国际合作以推动跨境绿色债券投资等努力来发展绿色金融.
