Soybean protein concentration is an important trait driver of successful soybean quality.Due to its complex nature, less stable quantitative trait loci were known. The goal of this study was to identify important and stable quantitative trait loci affecting soybean protein concentration usingA recombination inbred lines derived from a cross between'Charleston'and'Dongnong594'.The plant materials were planting in 3 different locations across 10 years in China (20 environments in total). The genetic effects were partitioned into additive main effects, epistatic main effects and their environment interaction effects by using composite interval mapping (CIM) and inclusive composite interval mapping model (ICIM) based on a high density genetic map.
