中国散裂中子源(CSNS)将提供能量为1.6Ge V、功率为100k W的短脉冲质子束,以25Hz的重复频率撞击固体金属靶,产生散裂中子。散裂中子源是一个多学科平台,可以进行物理、化学、生物学和材料科学研究。本文描述了CSNS真空系统各个部分的结构特点、技术要求、设计方案和实验结果。通过金属化法和玻璃粘结法分别完成了四极陶瓷真空盒和二极陶瓷真空盒样机的研制。经过测试,陶瓷真空盒样机的机械尺寸、抗拉强度和真空性能达到了设计指标。另外,为了减小二次电子发射系数,在陶瓷真空盒内表面用磁控溅射法镀氮化钛,通过小样品测试了氮化钛膜的厚度、成分、二次电子发射系数和附着强度。目前,CSNS真空系统大部分设备和部件已投入批量生产,2014年10月中旬开始安装,2018年CSNS达到国家验收指标。
China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) will provide a short pulse proton beam with an energy of 1.6Ge V and a power of 100kW, striking a solid metal target at a repetition rate of 25Hz to produce spallation neutrons. Spallation neutron source is a multidisciplinary platform for physical, chemical, biological and material science research. This paper describes the structural features, technical requirements, design schemes and experimental results of various parts of the CSNS vacuum system. Through the metallization method and the glass bonding method, the quadrupole ceramic vacuum box and the bipolar ceramic vacuum box prototype were respectively completed. After testing, the ceramic vacuum box prototype mechanical dimensions, tensile strength and vacuum performance to meet the design specifications. In addition, in order to reduce the secondary electron emission coefficient, a titanium nitride film was magnetron sputtered on the inner surface of the ceramic vacuum box. The thickness, composition, secondary electron emission coefficient and adhesion strength . At present, most of the equipment and components of the CSNS vacuum system have been put into mass production. Installation began in mid-October 2014 and reached the national acceptance target in 2018.
