Irpex lacteus, one of white-rot basidiomycetes, has been widely used as a traditional Chinese medicine which displays a remarkable therapeutic effect on chronic glomerulonephritis.Our present study was aimed to investigate the antinephritis activity of purified polysaccharide extracted from Irpex lacteus in both in vitro and in vivo experiments.
