Aerogels are nanoporous materials with three-dimensional network consisting of nanoparticles, and have unique properties such as low density, high specific surface area and porosity, tailorable structure and composition.[1-4] Furthermore, aerogels have been produced in considerable industrial-scale, leading to lower capital cost.Therefore, they have been widely applied in various fields such as thermal insulation, catalysis, adsorption and sequestration.Recently, amine modified aerogels for CO2 capture and sequestration have received increasingly higher attention due to their high CO2 capture performance.[5-8]
