The worldwide prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents has increased significantly over the past three decades, resulting in a growing and premature increment in obesity-related diseases. In addition to the biological difficulties we must consider the great emotional distress experienced by this population due to stigma and discrimination to which they are exposed.Due to the high incidence of this condition, it is possible to infer the highest number of people in different age groups, who are exposed to suffering represented by social exclusion.
