　　CeF3∶ Tb submicrometer phosphors were successfully synthesized by hydrothermal using CeO2,Tb4O7,and NaYF4 as precursors.X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),higher resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)characterization indicated that CeF3 well crystallized with an average grain size of 170 nm.Under the irradiation of ultraviolet,CeF3∶Tb phosphors showed the characteristic emission.
