  Deregulation of macrophage polarization and the resulting pro-inflammatory consequences are pathologically related to various adverse cardiovascular remodeling events.Attenuation of pro-inflammatory signaling is central to both preventative care and therapeutic treatment for numerous adverse cardiovascular events.Cytochrome P450 epoxygenases metabolize arachidonic acids into epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs), which have diverse biological activities in the cardiovascular system including potent anti-inflammatory properties.
