Pepper mild mottle virus (PMMoV) has been reported to infect sweet pepper and hot pepper throughout the world, which belongs to Tobamovirus and can be transmitted through seeds and sap during cultural practices.With the frequent introduction of pepper varieties overseas in several years,PMMoV has been found in North and Southwest China, but rarely reported in Northeast areas.
