Bacillus subtilis ZSH-1 was isolated from the rhizosphere soil of poplars as a biocontrol agent for fungal phytopathogens.ZSH-1 exhibited cell wall-degrading and plant growth-promoting traits,probably due to the production of cellulase, β-1, 3-glucanase, protease, siderophore, and ammonia.
