Anion-π interactions are a new emerging type of non-covalent motifs describing the interaction between electron rich anions and electron deficient aromatics.1 Since the former theoretical works that predict such non-covalent interactions,2 experimental results both in solid state and solution have exemplified the existence of anion-π interactions.
