The finite element analysis of the 3d full 5 direction braided composites elastic properties always replaced the elastic properties of the whole model with the elastic properties of the interior cell.However, in engineering, one of the structures transverse sizes is always short, which means the proportion of the surface cell in the whole structure is large so that we cannot neglect the effect of the surface.
