Tumor metastasis is the major cause of treatment failure in mammary cancer.Steroid receptor co-activator-3 (SRC-3) plays important roles in tumorigenesis and participated in the stage of breast cancer and contributes to invasion and metastasis of tumors. However, the molecular mechanisms that mediate the role of SRC-3 in invasion and metastasis remains largely unknown. In our study,SRC-3 wild type cells exhibited strong metastasis and invasion capabilities, reduced E-cadherin epithelial marker, and gained N-cadherin mesenchymal marker.
