The context of perceived over qualification has become a popular discussion and frequently studied by many researchers.Past researches and findings comprise the significance of knowledge sharing in knowledge management.However,there is still a troubling issue in the unwillingness of employees to share knowledge.While workers acquire an increasing amount of information related to their workplace,some individuals may be reluctant to share.The present study aims to assess that exchange ideology moderates the interaction of perceived over qualification(POQ)and Job performance(JP).Exchange ideology(IE)indicate the employee’s wiliness to support and reciprocate work effort depending on the organization’s treatment.The organization’s support motivates employees to engage in a strong exchange ideology towards the workplace and initiate self-decision to give and receive in an exchange relationship with the organization.Researchers have demonstrated that positive effects are clearly related to increase intrinsic motivation.There are countless reasons supposed to enhance an individual’s experiences of interest and self-satisfaction positively.Actual studies also have revealed some portion of motivating aspects like a history of knowledge-sharing behaviors.Investigations has identified the fundamental role of intrinsic motivation by clarifying its positive outcomes in human behavior.The present study displays a conceptual framework from a logical perspective of perceived over qualification to explore the plausible contribution of exchange ideology on POQ(perceived over qualification),and JP(job performance).In present research,we assume that workers who are overqualified have higher availability skills also provide high performance at work.Meanwhile,two critical conditions are combined to demonstrate relationship between the variables.First,I propose that perceived over qualification relate to knowledge sharing in a positive way.Employees with surplus qualification are self-assured in their competency to share expertise with other and find joy in helping others.Secondly,the present study hypothesizes demonstrate connection with an organization trough exchange.This study proposes the interaction that shows the moderating effect of exchange ideology on the two variables which are POQ,and JP.Theoretical and practical implications of these findings are argued.
