Founded in the late Ming Dynasty,Tianyige group is a private library of the fanfamily in Ningbo.It is also the earliest,the longest lasting and the most representative physical remains of private family library architecture and garden environment in China.It is the oldest existing library architecture in Asia,It has a direct influence on the construction of "four storehouses and seven Pavilions" in Qing Dynasty because of its superior use characteristics and cultural benchmarking significance.Tianyi Pavilion is not only the name of a library,but also the representative of its architectural art and garden environment art.It is one of the bearers of residential style in Ningbo.Its spiritual and cultural connotation has been extended to the social level,and contains the creative wisdom of ancient and modern people in human geography,material technology,design management and other aspects.It is an important work in the study of the interaction between Manchu culture and Han culture in Qing Dynasty.It is also a supplementary reference for the design and management of library space environment.Based on a complete survey of Surveying and mapping,starting from the historical background,social impact and other aspects,this paper supplements the existing research,explores the relationship between the fan’s simadi and the original environment of the library,attempts to explore its restoration.In the individual research of Tianyi Pavilion,this paper studies and analyzes its architectural space characteristics,function distribution and engineering practices,so as to truly reflect the vitality and inheritance of Tianyi Pavilion in history;In the research of landscape environment art,the paper analyzes the landscape organization and artistic characteristics of the miniature landscape in Ming Dynasty,and excavates the reflection of the humanistic thought in the gardening activities in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty;Finally,it summarizes the factors that fan’s book collection can be handed down to the present day,and refines the characteristic practice that fan’s book collection has become a model for many library buildings.
