The intent of this study was to assess social constraints affecting the adolescent girls’ education in secondary school "The Case study was Juba County".The sample size for this study was 78 participants that comprised of 60 adolescent girls existing in the school,4 principals and 4 deputies’ principals from four secondary schools in the area of research site,2 parents and 8 school dropout adolescent girls.The study have utilized the qualitative approaches and employed the descriptive analysis for the data.Data were collected through the questionnaires,observations and focus group discussion with the participants.The main findings in study were the widespread early marriage and pregnancies among the adolescent girls for the parents seek to get bride prices without considering the education of their daughters.The domestic workloads also bear the poor performance of adolescent girls in the school.The socio-economic barrier caused many adolescent girls to drop-out of school because parents were unable to pay the school fees for girls compare the boys.The insecurity in the Country exposed adolescent girls at the high risk of violence and abuse this create gap in girls’ education.The adolescent girl disadvantaged from education does not compete in the employment sector while the community will never overcome the high risks of poverty.The social customs were the pivotal problems that constrain the adolescent girl’s access to secondary education at the early periods,where the parents were only catered for boys;education than girls’ educations with the assumption educate a girl is a waste of resources.School environment was unsafe and insecure for girls are in dilemma in the classroom where gender based violence is prevailed.In the recommendation measures scholarships should be offer to girls to retain morale right for adolescent girl in the Republic of South Sudan.Likewise the stakeholders for national girls’ education strategy would preserve these rights which the ministry of education must take the upper hand by ensuring laws and bills to safeguard genders rights access to quality education regardless of age,sex,gender and debility.
