There are a lot of Chinese-character-words in Japanese, especially homographs, which often cause mistakes and errors when Chinese students learn and use Chinese. Homographs in Chinese and Japanese are born in different historical and cultural background of the two countries. There are two roles to discuss the forming of the Japan-Chinese-homographs: one hand, it can help Japan students to pay attention to the homographs and to understand the meaning of Chinese-character-words; on the other hand, it can complete Japanese-Chinese-homographs researching and vocabulary teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, so that teachers can choose property method according to the specific condition.Therefore, this essay analyzed the formation and the misuse of the Chinese-Japanese-homograph from a cultural aspect. So it can make a Chinese learner acknowledge the cultural background where the homograph is formed .Moreover, in order to solve the misuse of he Chinese-Japanese-homograph, some methods from cultural aspect are put forward in this essay. This can reduce the misunderstandings between Chinese and Japanese communication. In addition, the viewpoint that put forward in this essay can also offer an inspiration for Chinese learners on study of Chinese-Japanese-homograph.
