湖南有“非金属矿之乡”的称誉,矿产资源极其丰富,加之大部分矿区交通比较方便,具有很大的开发优势。目前,我省已探明的非金属矿达50多种,已开采的有25种。其中高岭土、土状石墨、萤石、钾长石、钠长石、重晶石、石膏、海泡石等的储量均居全国前列。欢迎国内外厂家、各地区、各部门有志于非金属矿产开发者前来我省投资。为此,现将主要资源情况披露于后,以供参考。土状石墨:我省土状石墨有两个产区,一是湘中产区有新化、冷水江等地;二是湘南产区有郴县、桂阳、临武、宜章等地。其中又以郴县鲁塘石墨矿质量最好,是全国储量最大的 Hunan has the reputation of “a hometown of non-metallic mineral deposits”.
