As a new type of refractory metal alloy, the heterogeneous Nb-Si alloy far exceeds the Ni-base superalloy in terms of high temperature resistance. Therefore, the application in the aerospace field has great advantages. Bewlay and other Nb-Si-based alloys currently pending technical problems can be summarized into three categories: ① processing; ② long-lasting anti-oxidation; ③ creep resistance.
