　　Winnie could see him. She could see his green（绿色）eyes， anyway.
　　But when Wilbur closed his eyes（闭上眼睛） and went to sleep（睡觉）.
　　Winnie couldn’t see him at all. So she sat on him（坐在它身上）or tripped over（绊倒） him.

　　Wilbur was a black cat no longer（不再）.He was bright green（熒光绿色）！
　　温妮灵机一动，挥舞魔杖把威尔伯变成了一只“绿猫”，这下子威尔伯在黑漆漆的大房子里变得格外醒目，无论它到哪里，温妮都可以一眼看到它，但是问题真的就此解决了吗？
　　Now，when Wilbur slept on a chair，Winnie could see him.
　　When Wilbur slept on the floor（地板），Winnie could see him.
　　But， Wilbur was not allowed（允许） to sleep on the bed.
　　So Winnie put him outside（外面）in the grass（草丛）.
　　Wi n n i e c am e h u r r y i n g（匆忙）outside，Tripped（绊倒）over wilbur，turned three somersaults（跟斗），and fell into a rose bush（花丛）.
　　When Wilber sat outside in the grass，Winnie couldn’t see him， even（甚至） when his eyes were wide open.
　　聪明的同学们，现在温妮的“麻烦”又来了，威尔伯变成了绿色，到了草丛之后，温妮根本找不到它！
　　This time， Winnie was furious（发火）.
　　She picked up her magic wand，waved it five times and Abracadabra！
　　Wilbur had a red（红色） head，a yellow（黄色）body， a pink（粉红色）tail，blue（蓝色） whiskers（胡子）， and four purple（紫色）legs.
　　But his eyes were still green.
　　Now ，Winnie could see Wilbur.
　　Wilbur climbed（爬）to the top of the tallest（最高的）tree to hide（躲藏）.
　　He looked ridiculous（可笑）and he knew it.
　　Even the birds laughed at（嘲笑）him.
　　Wilbur was miserable（伤心）.
　　He stayed at the top of the tree all day and all night（一天一夜）.
　　Winnie was worried（担心）.

　　Now instead of a black house，she had a yellow house with a red roof（房顶） and a red door（门）.
　　The chairs were white with red and white cushions（靠垫）.
　　The carpet was green with pink rosed（玫瑰花纹）.
　　The bed was blue，with pink and white sheets and pink blankets.
　　The bath was a gleaming（闪光）white.
　　And now，Winnie can see Wilbur no matter where he sits.
