在高轨道、中轨道和低轨道这三种移动卫星通信系统中，尤其是低轨道移动卫星通信（ＬＥＯ）系统比较引人注目，截止目前，世界上先后推出的ＬＥＯ系统方案大约有十多种。ＬＥＯ系统又包括传输话音及高速数据的大ＬＥＯ系统和只能提供低速数据业务的小ＬＥＯ系统。本文介绍小ＬＥＯ系统的典型代表─—Ｏｒｂｃｏｍｍ系统的网络组成、工作原理、系统性能参数、星体结构等主要技术特点。
Among the three kinds of mobile satellite communication systems of high orbit, medium or low orbit, especially low-orbit mobile satellite communication (LEO) systems are more and more outstanding. Up to now, about 10 kinds of LEO systems have been put out in the world . The LEO system includes a large LEO system that transmits voice and high-speed data and a small LEO system that provides only low-speed data services. This article describes the typical representative of a small LEO system ─ ─ Orbcomm system network composition, working principle, system performance parameters, the main technical characteristics of the astral structure.
