7月下旬至8月初,全国各地暴雨成灾。7月21日至7月22日凌晨,北京降下了61年来的最大暴雨。根据官方最新通报,这场暴雨导致北京190万人受灾,受灾面积1.6万平方公里,造成直接经济损失高达116.4亿,致79人死亡。7月25日～26日,广西西林县境内持续强降大到暴雨,导致山洪暴发,河水暴涨。暴雨造成大部分乡镇遭受不同程度的灾害,大面积农作物被淹没,水利基础设施被冲毁,多条道路塌方,交通中断,暴雨给该县带来巨大的经济损失。从7月27日晚到29日,陕西南部部分地区持续大到暴雨,造成商洛市5个县(区)9万多人受灾,5人死亡。
