The book consists of five separate sections with different characteristics: The first section reviews the major relevant policies and regulations as well as the institutions involved in early childhood education. In the meantime, the first part summarizes the major achievements of ECDE over the past decade, in the process highlighting some of the shortcomings in policy and service delivery, particularly as they relate to pre-school education for rural and vulnerable groups cover.
