1949—2000年这半个世纪的中国当代戏剧史,其精神演变的线索可以用一句话来概括:戏剧启蒙理性的消解与重建,或日戏剧现代性的残缺与修复。研究20世纪中国戏剧史,必须首先把握住中国近百年走向现代化的曲折历程这个大背景。因此20世纪中国戏剧史的前半部即通常所说的“现代”与后半部即习惯所称的“当代”这两部分就不过是相互联系着的一个大时段即现代时段而已。描述当代,也应从民族、语言、文化的统一性出发,将大陆、台湾、港澳的戏剧一并纳入史书视野,并以戏剧之现代性的三大特征为坐标,以当代戏剧之演变的四个阶段为参照,来显示历史的真实轨迹。
The history of Chinese contemporary drama of 1949-2000 during this half century can be summarized in one sentence: the digestion and reconstruction of drama enlightenment rationality or the incompleteness and restoration of the modernity of drama in China. To study the history of Chinese drama in the 20th century, we must first grasp the background of the tortuous course in which China has been transformed to modernization over the past century. Therefore, the first half of the history of Chinese drama in the twentieth century, which is commonly referred to as the “modern” and the latter half of what is customarily called “contemporary”, is but a large period of interrelationship that is a modern period . Describing contemporary, we should also include the drama of Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Maucao from the unity of nationalities, languages and cultures into the perspective of history books. Taking the three major characteristics of the modernity of drama as coordinates and the evolution of contemporary drama as four Stage as a reference to show the true history of the track.
