Flange couplings in aircraft pneumatic systems are tested for airtightness after installation and are cracked many times when pressure is not met. Through the fracture of the fault piece macro, microscopic examination, microstructure analysis, combined with the manufacture of the connector size and installation of a comprehensive analysis of the environment analysis to determine the causes of cracking joints. The results show that the failure of fitting the flange to the flange is the direct cause of the cracking of the joint. The poor plasticity of the joint material and the thin wall thickness are the contributing factors to the cracking of the joint.
