This article describes the endolymphatic sac of CMV seronegative and positive animals, observed after CMV vaccination. Hartley guinea pigs were used as experimental animals. 10 ~ 5TCID_ (50) / ml of guinea pig cytomegalovirus (GPCMV) 10μl were injected into the back of the neck 3 to 4 weeks before the experiment. The GPCMV (22122 strain) from Yale University was used for inoculation. Serum antibody titers were determined using Harris’s enzyme immuno-filtration assay. The endolymphatic sac was exposed through the craniotomy and 10 μl of live or inactivated virus was injected into the endolymphatic sac using a Hamilton syringe
