炙甘草汤又名复脉汤,前者被认为以君药炙甘草为名,后者则以其功效为名。炙甘草汤出自医圣汉·张仲景《伤寒论》:“伤寒,心动悸,脉结代,炙甘草汤主之。”原方:“甘草四两(炙)、生姜三两、人参二两、生地黄一斤、桂枝三两、阿胶二两、麦门冬半升、麻仁半升、大枣三十枚。上九味,以清酒七升,水八升,先煮八味,取三升。去滓,内胶炀消尽,温服一升,日三服。”本文通过对《伤寒论》中炙甘草汤方义分析及历代医家对炙甘草汤加减应用配伍原则的探讨,浅论炙甘草汤的应用规律。
